Four experienced waitstaff are wanted at a Mexican-themed restaurant in the middle of Christchurch's dining scene. The restaurant looks for people who deliver standout customer service, serve food and drinks according to its selling system, and show their personalities while having fun and noticing what each guest needs.
This is full-time work of at least 30 hours weekly, with nights, weekends and the busy summer months all included, along with regular in-house training in food, beverage and service. The employer holds Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) accreditation, so it can sponsor an applicant and assist with immigration if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and talk them through the menu and offerings
- Take orders and carry food and drinks out to tables
- Reset and clean tables and the restaurant, and put orders through the POS
- Handle card and cash payments
- Follow New Zealand liquor laws and support management in meeting licensing requirements, while promoting the restaurant's products and services and working through regular in-house training modules
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least six months in a comparable role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand liquor laws
- Free for nights, weekends and the busy summer months
- Drive to work hard in a fast-paced job
- Eagerness to learn the restaurant's offerings and service standards
