Fresh, quality products for the local community come out of a busy, supportive production bakery in Perth, and its owners want a qualified, hardworking, enthusiastic baker to join them. The position is permanent and full-time.

Key Responsibilities
- Work dough from mixing through kneading, dividing and moulding, to recipes and production schedules
- Keep an eye on proofing conditions, oven temperatures and bake times
- Bake and present top-quality bread, rolls, buns and savoury lines, consistently
- Support apprentices and bakery assistants as they train and develop
- Keep the bakery clean and safe, in line with food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Help with stock control and ordering ingredients
- Cut down production waste
- Team up with the bakery manager and colleagues to meet daily production needs
- Serve customers in a friendly way when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised baking trade qualification
- At least two years' commercial baking experience that is relevant
- Strong hands-on skill with bread and yeast-based bakery production
- Committed to quality products, food safety and cleanliness
- Good communication skills
- Cooperative with others
- Efficient in a busy production environment
- Available for early morning starts, weekends and public holidays when rostered
