Jobs in New Zealand and Australia, for people from anywhere

JobsAbroad New Zealand lists jobs in New Zealand and Australia and explains, step by step, how applicants from any country prepare, apply and make the move.

Who we are

JobsAbroad New Zealand lists vacancies in New Zealand and Australia for people applying from any country, with guides written in plain New Zealand English. It is run by Red Migration FZC from 108, 6th Street, Al Hamriya, Bur Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

We match applications to advertised roles and pass suitable ones to the employer. For visa advice the team works with licensed New Zealand immigration advisers and Australian registered migration agents. We do not have an office in New Zealand.

What you will find

  • New Zealand jobs and Australian jobs with duties, pay and who can apply
  • Visa guides to the AEWV, residence and the 482, linked to official pages
  • Articles on the labour market, visa changes and settling in
  • Videos, plus WhatsApp and Telegram channels for new roles
  • Free applications by email or WhatsApp

From application to offer

  1. Pick a role and read who can apply.
  2. Send the job reference, your English CV and your references.
  3. We check the match and pass suitable applications to that employer.
  4. The employer runs interviews, makes the offer and handles accreditation or sponsorship.
  5. You apply for the visa with your own evidence, with licensed advice where you need it, and travel after the grant.

Your papers

Most delays come from evidence that is incomplete or does not match. Put your papers in order before the employer sends an application link, using your passport name throughout and explaining any change of name.

  • Proof of work: references on company letterhead with your dates, weekly hours and duties, backed by contracts, payslips or tax records. Immigration New Zealand treats a CV as a summary, not as proof.
  • Qualifications: the certificate and transcript under the exact name the institution used. Many overseas awards need an NZQA International Qualification Assessment for residence or registration; some are on NZQA's list of qualifications exempt from assessment.
  • Registration: regulated work such as nursing, electrical, plumbing and gasfitting needs New Zealand occupational registration before you can do the job, which is a separate process from the visa.
  • Police certificates: request them only when INZ or Home Affairs asks, and from every country the rules list for you. Follow INZ’s police certificate instructions.
  • English: a recent accepted test result or evidence of a listed exemption, where the visa or the registration board requires one.
  • Translations: documents not in English need a translation that meets INZ’s translation rules; you cannot translate your own papers.

Keep scanned copies in one folder with clear file names. It saves days when an employer, adviser or case officer asks for a document again.

Where the work is

Employers in New Zealand regularly hire from overseas in construction and infrastructure, health and aged care, engineering, the electrical and plumbing trades, automotive and heavy diesel, and hospitality. Australia adds mining and resources. What is available changes week to week, so the job list is the best guide.

Licensed and registered occupations need extra preparation: registration in your home country does not carry over automatically.

Why start with the employer?

A real role tells you the pay, location and duties before you spend money on a move, and in both countries the work visa follows the employer’s offer. The employer’s decision and the visa decision are still separate, and neither is guaranteed.

What we aim for

Moving countries touches your career, your savings and your family. We want the steps to be clear, the job details complete and the official sources one click away, so you can decide with your eyes open.

How we work
