Central Christchurch has a stylish, popular modern Asian restaurant with its very own aquarium, and it wants four experienced waitstaff. The ideal hire delivers outstanding customer service and serves food and drink through the restaurant's selling system, is encouraged to show some personality and have fun, and keeps an eye out for what guests need.
The job is full time and permanent, at least 30 hours a week, and you need to be free nights, weekends and across the busy summer months. Being an approved accredited employer, the restaurant can assist with sponsorship through the immigration process if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests positively and talk them through the menu and offerings
- Attend the regular in-house beverage, food and service training sessions and finish the training modules
- Take orders and bring them to tables
- Clear and reset tables, keep the restaurant spotless, enter orders on the POS and process electronic and cash payments
- Apply NZ liquor laws, working with management and guests to enforce licensing requirements
- Promote products and services in line with the restaurant's policies
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least six months in a comparable role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- A solid grasp of NZ liquor laws
- Free for nights, weekends and the busy summer months
- Drive to work hard
- Eager to learn the restaurant's offerings and service standards
