A growing Queensland business is searching for a Venue Manager who brings more than rostering skills. Based in Brisbane, you would be a leader on the floor, setting the service bar, developing your people, keeping tabs on performance figures and keeping the venue humming when it gets busy. Expect a fast-moving environment where you step in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Work on the floor during busy service periods
- Motivate and guide staff, supporting their onboarding, training, coaching and development
- Set rosters and staffing levels so operations stay efficient
- Check stock, ordering and inventory procedures, and hold standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation
- Resolve customer concerns professionally with practical fixes
- Follow business performance, add ideas for sales and growth, help control costs and use venue resources responsibly
- Create a culture of teamwork, accountability and respect, while ensuring health, safety and food safety procedures are complied with
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, restaurant or venue management
- You can show that you lead and grow a hospitality team
- You have run the operations of a busy venue in a confident, hands-on way
- You communicate well and get on easily with people
- You stay organised and effective when it gets busy
- You know rostering, staff coordination and inventory management from experience
- You are good with customers and quick to solve problems
- You can help lift sales and meet operational targets
- Professional references and appropriate verification can back up your employment history
- You take workplace and safety standards seriously and can work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
