Key Responsibilities
- Contribute actively to kitchen production and service, keeping workflow efficient before, during and after service.
- Cook modern dishes using established techniques and sound technical knowledge, checking consistent preparation, presentation and quality.
- Complete mise en place, preparation and general kitchen work with colleagues to meet service needs.
- Follow hygiene, food safety and workplace health and safety procedures, maintaining safe, clean and organised areas.
- Contribute to a professional, cooperative culture and maintain high grooming and presentation standards.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, with 1–3 years of relevant professional kitchen experience.
- Practical commercial cooking skills and sound knowledge of varied preparation methods and cooking techniques.
- Awareness of hygiene, food safety and OH&S requirements and ability to produce consistent quality during busy service.
- Strong organisation and time management, with reliable, professional presentation and clear, collaborative communication with kitchen staff.
- Available for a flexible 7-day and evening roster.
