Canberra has a well-loved venue for high tea, weddings and corporate events, and it needs a manager with full operational say. It belongs to an established hospitality and events group that also operates in Sydney, and it is after an experienced Restaurant Manager. Expect evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of daily running across high tea, weddings, corporate functions and private events
- Roster, train and develop front-of-house staff, and lead them on the floor
- Partner with the General Manager, events and kitchen teams so each event goes without a hitch
- Keep service and presentation standards high, and respond to guest feedback
- Grow revenue and keep costs under control
- Stay on top of compliance, including WHS and RSA
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven premium hospitality background as a Restaurant, Venue or Events Manager
- Warm and approachable with guests and team alike
- Hands-on, confident leadership, owning operations fully
- Excellent English, spoken and written
- Strong organisational skills
- Sharp eye for detail
- Available nights and weekends, which includes every weekend, public holidays and peak event periods
- ACT RSA
