Key Responsibilities
- Run daily housekeeping and own team performance, prioritising workloads and allocating tasks.
- Lead briefings and explain standards, ensuring guest-ready rooms before arrival.
- Work with hotel leaders to maintain and improve quality and review staffing and resources as demand changes.
- Manage rosters and administration, maintain accurate safety and compliance procedures and assist billing and operational processes.
- Monitor standards, address performance issues promptly and apply practical solutions.
- Maintain clear staff and management communication and shift handovers and build accountability, service and quality culture.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrable hotel housekeeping management; Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping professional experience is highly regarded.
- A record coordinating, supervising and motivating teams and knowledge of guest expectations and room standards, with genuine practical experience suited to the position.
- Strong relationships and communication and excellent organisation and time management.
- Able to balance busy hotel priorities and solve operational issues confidently.
- Understanding of workplace safety, annualised budgets and operating costs, with firm compliance and professional standards commitment.
- Professional service-focused presentation and availability for weekends and public holidays where required.
- No formal qualification is required; candidates must substantiate relevant professional experience.
