Guest arrivals, reservations and the condition of a holiday property all meet in this Christchurch role. As Holiday Park Assistant Manager, you will move between reception, practical work around the grounds and support for the people managing daily operations. Guests can choose motel rooms, cabins and powered sites, whether visiting from New Zealand or abroad.
Activity increases particularly over summer. This is a full-time, hands-on opening where management experience is not required: the selected person will learn alongside the management team, with scope to develop into management. Potential work visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle arrivals and departures while responding to queries in person, over the telephone and by email.
- Help visitors enjoy their stay and assist with reservations received through online booking services.
- Support cleaning, upkeep and property presentation, including checks of rooms, cabins, sites and shared facilities.
- Assist the operation of the swimming and hot pools.
- Help colleagues organise the day's tasks, and complete routine office administration.
- Learn how occupancy levels, pricing decisions and online reservation management fit together.
