Opening soon in Sydney's eastern beaches: a new neighbourhood bar with 90 seats and a steak and seafood focus. Its first Head Chef will lead the kitchen from launch, in a casual beachside room with an open kitchen and a busy bar. The launch menu of grilled steaks, seafood and house-made sauces is still being worked out, so the creative input is genuine.
Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Run the kitchen and lead the team
- Complete and refine the launch menu: grilled steaks, seafood and house-made sauces
- Hire, train and motivate a brigade that performs
- Handle ordering, food cost and prep systems

Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef, with 5+ years in fast-paced venues
- A passion for cooking, and for premium local ingredients
- Motivating, mentoring leadership that builds team culture
- Strong financial and operational acumen
- Ready to start immediately
