In one of Western Australia's best-known wine regions, a winery with a restaurant hosts everything from easy long lunches to weddings of 150 guests. It is looking for an experienced Events Chef to take ownership of the events food. Daily restaurant service is already covered by the kitchen team; this role brings specialist wedding, function, banquet or catering know-how and leads that part of the business.
You would plan and deliver wedding and event catering across the venue. Between events you join the Head Chef and kitchen team, running a section and helping with daily prep or service. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver food for weddings and events across the business, owning and shaping that offering
- Lead the kitchen team in producing quality food for big groups
- Between events, run a section and support prep or service next to the Head Chef and kitchen team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience delivering weddings, functions, banquets or catered events, and a clear sense of how event service differs from restaurant service
- Organised and proactive, planning several steps ahead
- Likes leading people and pulling a team together
- Practical, unflustered under pressure and solution-focused
- Pride in serving honest, quality food
