Take responsibility for shifts at an established Sydney pub with regular trade across its bar, gaming, sport and events. The position combines front- and back-of-house work and suits an experienced Duty Manager or a senior supervisor ready for broader responsibility.
You will balance people, service standards and compliance within a larger hotel group. Sponsorship is available.
An English CV should show how you lead a shift, handle gaming operations and keep compliance current. Include your RSA, RCG and ARCG alongside examples of stock, rostering or events work when you organise a pub duty management CV.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bar, gaming, functions and guest-stay shifts, managing opening, closing, cash handling and reporting.
- Help deliver functions and events and coordinate ordering, stock and suppliers.
- Contribute to rosters and efficient labour use.
- Support compliance with RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety requirements.
- Assist local marketing and venue promotions, and coach staff to maintain service standards and the guest experience.
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year working as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor.
- A background with gaming, TAB and KENO, plus Current RSA, RCG and ARCG.
- Strong leadership presence and communication; calm, organised and solutions-focused.
- Comfortable balancing people, service and compliance.
- Back-of-house experience is highly regarded.
- Functions, guest-stay operations, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing experience is favourable.
