Cook nutritious meals for Sydney aged care residents in a permanent full-time role. The Sunday to Thursday roster combines food preparation, menu support and coordination with care colleagues. Dishes must meet individual dietary and texture needs, including IDDSI requirements for modified foods.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious resident meals with consistent presentation and quality and adapt dishes to individual diet and texture needs, following IDDSI for modified food.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety and work efficiently during busy kitchen periods.
- Coordinate with kitchen and care teams and help plan menus with varied culturally appropriate options.
- Monitor stock, support ordering and control costs and unnecessary waste.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial Chef experience and relevant cooking qualifications, with strong interest in quality preparation.
- South American cuisine experience preferred; Brazilian, Peruvian, Colombian, Argentinian or Chilean cuisine knowledge advantageous.
- High-volume production experience and dietary requirements understanding.
- Strong hygiene and food safety practice and good communication and teamwork.
- Aged-care experience desirable; IDDSI experience desirable.
- Australian working rights or eligibility for sponsorship.
