Kitchens on the Sunshine Coast are expanding, and a busy hospitality operation there wants Chefs at whatever stage of their career they have reached. Apprentices and junior Chefs can learn while they work, qualified Chefs can sharpen their craft and senior Chefs can move into leading a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook well across the kitchen's sections, and run a section of your own when asked
- Prepare ingredients and keep stock at sensible levels
- Make sure every plate leaves the pass at the expected standard of quality and presentation
- Work to the kitchen's systems, recipes and service procedures, and keep food safety and hygiene tight at all times
- Stay productive during rushes and help the kitchen run smoothly
- Talk openly with the other Chefs and the restaurant team
- Coach and develop junior colleagues
- Offer suggestions for better food and kitchen performance
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience in commercial cookery is preferred
- Open to apprentices, junior Chefs, qualified Chefs and senior Chefs; qualifications are desirable, depending on the level of the position
- Good grasp of how a kitchen operates and of preparing food
- Dedicated to high food quality and presentation
- Knows food safety and hygiene procedures
- Copes under pressure and can handle several tasks at once
- Upbeat, hard-working and a good team member in a professional kitchen; leadership skills are preferred for experienced and senior-level applicants
