Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily service and cook quality meals across a varied pub-style menu, including daily and seasonal specials.
- Maintain consistent flavour, presentation and portions and prepare and store food to safety requirements.
- Keep a hygienic, orderly and organised kitchen and help with ordering, inventory and rotation.
- Monitor ingredient availability and reduce waste, coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house for smooth meal delivery.
- Contribute menu and dish ideas and support colleagues professionally and productively during peak periods.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated commercial hospitality Chef experience and Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Practical modern cooking and preparation knowledge and strong hygiene, food safety and workplace safety understanding.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain quality, calm and efficiency during high-volume service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and independent work with effective team contribution.
- Positive, dependable professionalism and availability evenings, weekends and public holidays, with willingness to support wider kitchen operations.
