A country hotel listed in Sale needs an experienced chef for full-time kitchen work. You will prepare creative, high-quality meals in a fast-paced service and work with the Head Chef to develop dishes. Kitchen organisation, food safety and a prompt response to guest requests sit alongside the cooking.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare creative meals of high quality and complete cooking and preparation efficiently during busy service.
- Develop menu additions and refine existing dishes with the Head Chef.
- Keep the kitchen organised, hygienic and clean.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to guest requests.
- Help manage inventory and order kitchen supplies, following food safety and workplace health and safety regulations.
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years working as a Chef/Cook in a comparable hospitality setting.
- Formal culinary training or qualifications, for example Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and food safety practices, with strong time management and multitasking in a busy kitchen.
- Able to work in a team and contribute to a positive culture, with a passion for quality meals and improving the dining experience.
