Cook through high-volume service in a Perth kitchen that needs proven commercial skills. The role combines daily preparation and menu execution with safe storage, stock rotation and communication across the kitchen and service team.
The role is open to applicants already living in Australia, and current Perth residence is essential. Perth-based visa holders are welcome. Sponsorship is available for eligible high-performing candidates after a qualifying period.
An English CV should make your current location and genuine kitchen work history clear. present your Perth high-volume chef experience in a CV with examples of maintaining quality under pressure. Explain how you prepare a station, manage several tasks and limit ingredient waste through service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and daily mise en place, cooking menu dishes to established recipes and consistent food quality and presentation.
- Handle several cooking tasks efficiently during peak, high-volume service.
- Store food correctly, rotate stock and monitor ingredient use to reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service colleagues and adapt calmly to changing service needs.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant Cook or Chef experience and demonstrable commercial kitchen work; high-volume kitchen experience is strongly preferred.
- Able to work efficiently during busy service, with strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Positive and dependable, with good communication and teamwork and a professional approach to preparation and customer service.
- Able to meet workplace and food safety requirements.
- Current residence in Perth, Western Australia is essential; visa holders already residing in Perth are welcome to apply.
- Able to demonstrate authentic, verifiable employment experience and committed to completing the required qualifying period.
