Western Australia's roadside dining trade needs a Chef who is ready to be trusted with a whole kitchen. You will be cooking, yes, but also reshaping the menu, coaching the crew and keeping every shift under control. New ideas are welcome provided each plate comes out at the same quality, even at peak times.
Eligible candidates can be supported through visa sponsorship, provided they meet Australian immigration and employment requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry overall responsibility for kitchen results and plan each day's prep and operations
- Lead and support cooks during service, helping them train and develop
- Produce quality meals from a varied commercial menu, with steaks cooked well alongside other staples
- Review the existing menu and suggest upgrades, from fresh dinner, takeaway and dine-in options to a livelier breakfast
- Keep quality, presentation and portion sizes consistent, and plan ahead for peak trade
- Track stock, organise reorders and use food efficiently to cut waste, while keeping workflows smooth and food safety, hygiene and cleanliness under watch
- Partner with management to improve the food operation as a whole, holding professional standards at every service
Requirements & Eligibility
- Professional Chef experience you can point to, including busy commercial or high-volume kitchens
- Solid cooking and food preparation skills, with a proven record of cooking steaks to a high standard
- Menu development or menu improvement experience
- Capable of running kitchen duties on your own, with strong team coordination and leadership skills
- Handles a fast-paced environment well, with a strong eye for food quality and consistency
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Available for a rotating roster, and willing to live on-site as required
- Committed to workplace safety and food hygiene standards
- Holds a relevant culinary qualification and/or strong equivalent industry experience
