Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Indian dishes to commercial standards using curry, tandoor and South Indian techniques.
- Maintain consistent texture, taste, quality and presentation and finish ingredient preparation before service.
- Manage cooking efficiently at peak times and follow recipes, preparation methods, quality, hygiene and food safety requirements.
- Coordinate with kitchen colleagues for smooth service and support catering and events as required.
- Maintain an organised, professional and clean workspace.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven commercial Indian cooking and demonstrable curry, tandoor or South Indian expertise, with strong knowledge of ingredients and techniques.
- Able to produce consistent high-quality food and experience in busy restaurants, catering or event kitchens.
- Good kitchen hygiene and food safety understanding and ability to maintain quality under pressure.
- Reliable attendance, professional work ethic and effective teamwork and communication.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are advantageous; candidates must meet applicable sponsorship requirements.
