Run a section in a historic waterfront hotel kitchen listed in Whangarei. These permanent full-time Chef de Partie positions are for 30 hours weekly. The team values fresh, seasonal food, a professional working culture and consistency from preparation through to the finished dish.
Applicants with New Zealand work eligibility are preferred, but sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Know the daily and continuing menus, functions and specials, offering ideas and submitting new menu dishes when invited.
- Prepare your section for daily service, functions and special requirements.
- Keep stock at the necessary quality and quantity and notify the Head or Sous Chef of shortfalls.
- Ensure every dish component meets standards, is correctly cooked and reaches service on time.
- Follow recipes and the Food Control Plan, keeping preparation and service areas clean.
- Prepare raw ingredients and stock quantities to match demand without waste.
- Help junior staff perform duties correctly and report maintenance issues.
