Service in Sydney and event work away from the main kitchen share the same priority here: food that reaches guests consistently well prepared. The Chef de Partie & Sous Chef opening suits cooks who can take responsibility for preparation and smaller functions while contributing to an ambitious crew. Fire cooking and good produce are central to the menu, and the kitchen welcomes junior as well as experienced CDPs and Sous Chefs.
You need to be already in Australia with working rights for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food using fire and quality ingredients while keeping pace with a busy professional brigade.
- Take charge of preparation and small events without needing someone alongside you.
- Keep dishes consistently up to the standard clients expect; collaborate with colleagues when delivering events at different venues.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a chef, supported by a proven professional-kitchen background
- For the Sous Chef position, a minimum of 6 months in that role
- Event catering or high-volume kitchen experience is highly regarded; a hatted or award-winning restaurant background is also highly regarded
- Take pride in food quality, with consistent results, careful attention to detail and respect for high client expectations
- Be able to manage preparation and small events independently
- Bring a positive attitude and a solid work ethic, and contribute as a member of the team
- Valid NSW driver's licence
- Solve problems confidently and take initiative
- Australian working rights required (visa sponsorship may be available for exceptional candidates)
