Key Responsibilities
- Cook a wide variety of creative dishes, presented well
- Keep food quality, presentation and service at the highest level
- Work with the Head Chef on new menu items and on refining existing recipes
- Follow every food safety and hygiene regulation strictly
- Own your station and help the kitchen run smoothly
- Mentor junior kitchen staff, and take part in regular team meetings and training
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years working as a Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant
- Formal culinary training, or a relevant hospitality qualification
- Excellent cooking, with close attention to detail and presentation
- Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Strong teamwork and communication, and a passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
- Ability to adapt and do well when the kitchen is busy and pressured
