Lead culinary teams at a regional Victorian hotel listed in Bendigo. Reporting to the Venue Manager, the chef will combine menu ideas across different cuisines with practical kitchen leadership, food quality and financial control. Volume kitchen and functions experience is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop menus and control food standards and production, including food costings.
- Meet executive management's standards and agreed kitchen KPIs.
- Manage and cost labour, assist kitchen recruitment and induct and train staff.
- Communicate effectively with management and staff while maintaining hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years in a similar high-volume venue and Cert III or Cert IV in Cookery.
- Highly professional, with strong kitchen operations knowledge focused on food quality and presentation.
- Sound financial capability for controlling kitchen costs and outstanding spoken and written communication.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage a multifaceted kitchen, coaching and motivating as a hands-on leader.
- An enthusiastic, energetic approach with demonstrated problem-solving capability.
- Able to build and contribute to a team environment throughout the venue.
