Run daytime brunch service in a full-time Brisbane cafe role. The chef takes responsibility for preparation, the pass and consistent plates, working with the Head Chef/Owner and guiding newer staff. The roster is Monday to Friday, with daytime service only.
Sponsorship is available for an appropriately qualified and experienced candidate. Asian cuisine knowledge is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook breakfast and brunch to high standards using strong practical skills and maintain consistent portions, quality and presentation.
- Own preparation and service requirements and complete tasks efficiently at peak trade.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and a clean, organised and ready kitchen, working confidently independently and with colleagues.
- Train and support new staff with practical service guidance.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef/Owner to maintain standards and a professional, positive workplace.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional Chef experience; cafe, brunch or breakfast experience is highly regarded, as is Asian cuisine knowledge or experience, which is an advantage.
- Strong practical cooking and preparation, able to maintain quality and own responsibilities during busy service.
- Previous staff training or mentoring with strong leadership and coordination.
- Reliable, punctual and organised, with good communication and interpersonal skills and positive professionalism.
- Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge and high cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Able to cover the required Monday-to-Friday daytime roster; skills and relevant experience must be demonstrable and verifiable.
