Make quality coffee and help run daily cafe service in Dunedin. The barista role combines commercial coffee equipment, friendly customer service and a steady workflow during busy periods. You will also help prepare cafe food, maintain supplies and support opening and closing.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso coffee and hot drinks to cafe recipes, presentation and consistent quality standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders and other beverage equipment and complete routine cleaning and maintenance.
- Maintain smooth workflow during peak periods and provide friendly, professional service with accurate orders and payments.
- Help prepare and present food, keep stations and service areas clean, organised and ready, and monitor beverage supplies and stock.
- Assist opening and closing and work safely to food hygiene standards.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated practical barista experience and strong technical understanding of coffee preparation.
- Able to work quickly while maintaining consistent quality through busy periods, with previous hospitality or customer-facing service experience.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, reliable commitment and good teamwork.
- High cleanliness and personal presentation standards and understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Flexible for rostered shifts and weekends.
