An Adelaide food manufacturer needs a qualified Baker who has worked at commercial scale. The job is producing breads and sweet yeast products on modern equipment in a team that already has its routine down.
Early starts are part of the deal, so reliable transport and a steady routine matter. Candidates who meet the required skills and experience criteria can be offered sponsorship, and proof of qualifications and work history will be expected.

Key Responsibilities
- Bake breads and sweet yeast products at commercial scale
- Scale and mix with precision, using the set recipes, baking methods and production routines
- Load, run and monitor industrial ovens and other bakery machines in a safe manner
- Check every bake for even quality
- Get through the daily prep, bake and pack list, and hold your standards when time is short
- Observe food safety, hygiene and workplace safety rules
- Leave the bakery floor clean, tidy and running efficiently
- Pitch in with colleagues to meet production targets, lifting and carrying ingredients and finished goods of up to 25kg without risk to yourself
Requirements & Eligibility
- Baking in a commercial setting, shown by hands-on work in a bakery or food production environment
- Certificate III in Baking is preferred
- Confident on industrial ovens and commercial bakery equipment
- Command of baking methods, recipes and production processes
- A clear grasp of food safety and hygiene rules
- Keeps products consistent and of good quality
- Can begin shifts early, from approximately 2:00am
- Fit enough to cope physically and lift up to 25kg
- Has reliable transport and a current, valid driver's licence
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance, and works cooperatively in a professional bakery team
- Valid Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate visa
- Can provide supporting evidence of qualifications and relevant work experience, and is willing to work in South Australia
