Maintain underground electrical systems at a Western Australian mining operation, listed in Perth. This permanent opening combines planned maintenance, inspections and testing with breakdown fault-finding. You will work with trades and operations staff to keep equipment safe and reliable and support underground production.

Use an English CV to identify your A Grade Western Australian Electrical Licence and relevant mining experience. prepare an underground electrical maintenance CV with examples of inspections, isolation procedures and repairs. Record current tickets clearly and explain the diagnostic work you undertake before returning equipment to operation. Distinguish planned work from breakdown response and describe the electrical systems you maintained. This helps the reader understand the responsibilities behind your licence and site experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair underground electrical equipment and systems and complete scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns and operational issues, diagnose electrical faults and repair them correctly.
- Inspect and test electrical systems to maintain safe, reliable equipment.
- Support production and maintenance while following site electrical procedures, isolations and safety requirements.
- Keep accurate, current maintenance records and collaborate with trades and operations colleagues to improve reliability.
Requirements & Eligibility
- An Australian-recognised electrical trade qualification and a current A Grade Western Australian Electrical Licence.
- At least 3 years' electrical industry experience; mining experience is desirable and underground mining experience is advantageous.
- A current C Class Manual Driver's Licence.
- An HV Switching ticket is desirable; Working at Heights certification is desirable; A High Risk Work Licence is desirable.
- Strong safety awareness and professional work ethic, able to work 12-hour shifts on a 7/7 or 2/2 roster.
