Telecommunications Field Engineer
Visa sponsorship
Engineering · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $85,000 - $100,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Based north of Brisbane, a telecom infrastructure contractor owned in Australia serves prime contractors and carriers nationwide, offering rigging, civil construction, RF and transmission integration, plus upgrades and decommissioning of structures. It is hiring an experienced Telecommunications Field Engineer, and works through two delivery teams led by directors.
The work is practical and technical: you take charge of site integration, commissioning and carrier acceptance for a pipeline of projects around the country, both new greenfield builds and brownfield co-locations, drawing on rigging tickets, structural know-how, RF and Tx experience. Employment is full-time and direct, not labour hire, classed as ANZSCO 313212, and involves travel across Australia to remote and metro sites. Because the employer is an approved Standard Business Sponsor under the Subclass 482 Skills in Demand programme, suitably qualified overseas candidates on eligible visas may be considered, although Australian citizens, permanent residents and other Australians are given priority.
Field engineering hires on proof, so list the carrier acceptance packs you have produced, your rigging ticket, EWP, Working at Heights and First Aid, and keep each line short. Then get the CV into shape with Build AI CV.
