Key Responsibilities
- Plan, then review, civil and utility works across sewer, water and gas networks
- Draw up plans, specifications, quantities and tender packages
- Run programs, budgets and cost reports for each project
- Keep in contact with clients, asset owners, authorities and subcontractors
- Give site crews technical advice and handle RFIs and variations
- Uphold quality, safety and environmental standards, and help prepare risk assessments, SWMS and ITPs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Background in utility, pipeline or civil construction work
- Familiarity with Australian Standards
- Familiarity with Queensland water and sewer authority requirements
- Knowledge of precast and in-situ concrete
- Ordering materials and hiring plant and equipment
- Communication and stakeholder skills that are strong
- Holds a current Queensland driver's licence
- Full work rights in Australia
- Desirable: White Card; AutoCAD or Civil 3D, plus experience with project software
