This is a permanent, full-time position at Senior Shotcreter level, based in Sydney with a specialist ground support team. You will run the spraying plant, lay down quality shotcrete safely in difficult ground, and work with the anchor and drill crews on stabilisation jobs where accuracy decides the outcome.
What counts is demonstrated hands-on time, so prepare to talk through the jobs you have sprayed and the rigs you have operated.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate shotcrete spraying plant and associated equipment on specialist ground support work
- Prepare the surface, then apply shotcrete to the project specification
- Join anchoring and drilling crews in ground engineering tasks
- Own the quality of the shotcrete laid on your projects each day
- Use good mixing and spraying technique so every application matches the last
- Teach newer crew members practical shotcrete skills
- Keep safety front of mind throughout spraying operations
- Inspect equipment and handle routine servicing
- Respond to changing site and weather conditions while staying inside project safety, quality and operating procedures, and cooperate with supervisors, operators and colleagues to finish projects efficiently
Requirements & Eligibility
- A career as a Shotcreter with proven professional results
- Hands-on operation of shotcrete machinery and associated equipment
- Good practical command of shotcrete application and concrete mixing
- Time in ground engineering, ground support or comparable construction settings
- Employment and technical history relevant to the job, which you can demonstrate and verify
- At ease working next to anchoring and drilling teams
- A visible commitment to workplace health and safety
- Nationally accredited OHS Card / White Card or equivalent
- A full driving licence plus your own reliable transport
- MR licence for line pump operations where applicable
- Resilient in demanding site and environmental conditions as a team member
- Willing and able to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Relevant Australian work rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored employment
