A Perth workshop wants an experienced Sheet Metal / Aluminium Fabricator who delivers quality products and keeps working steadily in a busy production setting without needing to be chased. Cutting, bending, rolling and aluminium welding take up most of the week, and anyone who has built fencing and gates will have an edge.
Applicants from overseas may be considered if the sponsorship eligibility requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Build aluminium and sheet metal products, working from technical drawings, plans and simple sketches
- Do aluminium TIG and laser welding
- Operate cutting, bending and rolling machines
- Measure and prepare materials, then finish pieces accurately
- Check completed components for quality and accuracy
- Contribute to smooth production and workshop operations
- Work through fabrication challenges with colleagues and put forward ways to improve production methods
- Look after tools, equipment and work areas, following safety and workplace procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant industry experience of at least 3–5 years, or more
- A background as a Sheet Metal or Aluminium Fabricator
- Solid hands-on aluminium welding, and competence in TIG or laser welding
- Reads and follows fabrication drawings
- Familiar with sheet metal fabrication equipment
- Experience with fencing and gates is highly valued
- Pays close attention to detail and solves problems in a practical way
- Dedicated to quality work and safe practices
