Support heavy mobile plant reliability at Western Australian mining operations from a Perth-based FIFO position. The advisor combines diagnosis, technical advice and hands-on assistance with site maintenance crews. The goal is stronger equipment availability, reliability and productivity, supported by practical maintenance improvements.
Overseas applicants with suitable qualifications and experience may be considered for visa sponsorship. The work includes FIFO rosters and 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose heavy equipment faults and performance problems and recommend corrections.
- Give specialist technical advice and coaching to site maintenance staff and inspect equipment for early reliability concerns.
- Assist preventative maintenance planning and delivery, component replacements and planned tasks and support warranty-related issues.
- Fault-find promptly to reduce downtime, assess condition and recommend maintenance and fleet optimisation improvements.
- Contribute to customer reliability, availability and efficiency projects and provide hands-on support as operations need.
- Keep clear, accurate service and technical records and assist training and knowledge transfer.
- Maintain strong site and customer relationships and comply with safety, environmental and site procedures during FIFO rosters and extended shifts.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised Mobile Plant Trade Certificate or equivalent international qualification and demonstrated practical heavy plant maintenance.
- Mining, field service or large-equipment maintenance experience; strong practical experience with the machinery brand in use highly regarded.
- Advanced diagnostics and fault-finding and ability to analyse problems and recommend effective solutions.
- Good preventative maintenance and reliability principle understanding and ability to combine advice with practical work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, professional customer and stakeholder approach and self-directed contribution within maintenance teams.
- Willing to work FIFO and 12-hour shifts and committed to remote mining safety and compliance.
- High-risk licences such as Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging or Working at Heights advantageous.
