This is a permanent, full-time Team Leader position in the Painting Division of a Western Australian company with more than 25 years in residential and commercial painting, based around Perth. The best applicants have painted and decorated in commercial construction and can point to a record of extremely high standards.
Details, delivery on schedule, specialty finishes and wallcoverings and outstanding customer relations are what the company is proud of. Reporting directly to the Painting Manager, you will lead the team across numerous sites. TSS482 visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer directly to the Painting Manager.
- Keep your team motivated and work alongside them at numerous sites.
- Run projects and look after team members; where problems arise, find solutions or agree a positive way forward with the Painting Manager.
- Maintain a safe workplace, meeting OSH policies and company procedures & induction manuals.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade Certified Painter (must have completed an apprenticeship)
- Has worked as a leading hand or in a 2IC role
- Can manage projects and team members, and can solve problems or agree a positive outcome with the Painting Manager when problems arise
- Communicates well and is well organised
- Careful attention to detail so quality control is maintained
- Reads and understands project drawings (floor plans/elevations)
- Manual driver's license
- White card
- No subcontractors or ABN holders
- Desirable: EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket
- Desirable: First Aid
- Desirable: Experience in airless spraying
- Current National Criminal History Check
