Large building projects across New South Wales need dependable Formwork Carpenters, and Sydney crews are looking for people who care about quality. You would be setting up concrete formwork on site, where practical judgement and genuine time on formwork systems show.
This role is only open to applicants who are already in Australia, and eligible high-performing onshore candidates may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and erect formwork for concrete pours
- Go through the drawings, plans and specs before you begin
- Measure and mark out the formwork carefully
- Work with a range of formwork systems and building methods
- Assemble the formwork, place it correctly and fix it firmly
- Inspect every finished frame for stability, levels and alignment
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on live sites, and help keep the crew on schedule
- Get through your allocated work efficiently and to the expected standard, obey health and safety procedures and leave the work area safe and orderly
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a formwork carpenter
- Practical experience on formwork systems and a sound understanding of how formwork is built
- Able to read and follow construction drawings and specifications with ease
- Holds a valid White Card
- Productive within an established site crew
- Dependable, professional, and a good communicator and team member
- Physically fit for demanding construction work
