High-rise commercial sites across Western Australia need Formwork Carpenters who learnt their trade on real projects. You will build accurate, safe formwork for concrete structures, and employers expect your track record to stand up to scrutiny.
Candidates with suitably verified skills and substantial experience may be eligible for visa sponsorship, so keep project records and trade evidence close. This is a full-time role around Perth.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, brace and strip formwork for concrete structures on high-rise commercial jobs
- Read construction plans, drawings and specifications and work to them
- Set formwork out and assemble it accurately, adjusting your method to suit each system
- Self-check as you go so accuracy, quality and safety standards hold
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and fellow trades on site
- Comply with site procedures and workplace health and safety rules
- Hold productivity and quality against the programme, leaving your area safe, tidy and within site rules
Requirements & Eligibility
- Formwork Carpenter by trade, with a proven history and substantial commercial high-rise construction behind you
- Working knowledge of different formwork systems, and comfortable following construction drawings and specifications
- Knows safe construction practice well and turns out accurate, quality workmanship
- Holds a valid Australian Construction White Card
- Works efficiently in a professional site team, turns up reliably and takes responsibility for site duties and project requirements
- Paperwork or other evidence that supports the trade skills and employment you claim
