Key Responsibilities
- Carry out formwork carpentry across different construction projects
- Erect, put together and strip formwork structures
- Work to construction drawings, plans and specifications
- Measure, mark, cut and fasten materials accurately
- Pick up general carpentry and building tasks when needed
- Handle hand and power tools safely and with efficiency
- Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
- Obey site safety procedures and keep your area tidy
- Work solo or with the crew, travel between project sites as needed, and adapt to different site conditions and project demands
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience working as a Formwork Carpenter or All-Round Carpenter
- Preferably a relevant carpentry qualification or recognised trade certification
- Real, checkable experience in the construction industry, including time on active building sites
- Holds a White Card
- Preferably holds a current driver's licence
- Has reliable transport and brings their own hand and power tools
- Works independently, with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail
- Prepared to travel between sites and work in regional areas where required
- Meets the applicable employment and sponsorship requirements
