Key Responsibilities
- Build quality formwork carpentry across different construction projects
- Put up, assemble and fix formwork structures to meet what each job needs
- Apply carpentry technique, accurate measuring and an understanding of construction, including general carpentry to a professional level
- Work from drawings, specifications and site instructions to keep results accurate
- Operate power tools, machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Liaise with site supervisors and crews, solve practical site problems and follow site procedures and safety standards across varied sites
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience as a Formwork Carpenter or skilled Construction Carpenter
- Able to produce evidence of your trade experience, qualifications and past projects
- Understands formwork installation and general carpentry practice
- Track record of accurate, high-quality work
- Dependable, safety-minded and committed to professional standards
- Self-reliant and a good team member
- Prepared to travel between construction sites when required, and has own tools and reliable transport
- Current driver's licence is preferred; open to regional work where applicable
