On the Gold Coast, workshops that handle electric motors, motor rewinding and flameproof or hazardous-area gear are short of qualified Electrical Fitters. Experience in oil and gas, construction, mining or industrial maintenance is a plus, and tradespeople from neighbouring industries are invited to talk through how their background might transfer.
For eligible candidates, visa sponsorship is on offer.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified Electrical Fitter
- Experience assembling and fitting electrical equipment
- Experience testing electrical equipment and fault finding
- Background in repairing, maintaining or rewinding electric motors, or in hazardous-area or flameproof equipment
- Previous work rewinding motors or on flameproof gear is highly regarded
