Support the full dairy farm routine in a large Victorian operation listed in Warrnambool. The farm hand will milk, feed and move cattle, help with calving and newborn calves and undertake general farm duties. Practical livestock experience, reliability and safe work around animals and machinery are central to the position.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily rotary dairy milking and move and handle cattle safely and efficiently.
- Monitor livestock wellbeing and health and flag animals needing attention.
- Assist calving and feed and care for newborn calves to farm routines.
- Operate feeding equipment and distribute herd feed across farm duties at several locations.
- Clean and maintain dairy areas and complete general farm tasks, following animal welfare, workplace, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Coordinate with management and colleagues to complete scheduled duties accurately and punctually.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Dairy farm or livestock experience with hands-on cattle handling and familiarity with basic animal care and dairy routines.
- Milking experience will be highly regarded.
- Able to work safely with large livestock and machinery and physically fit for prolonged standing, walking and manual work.
- Hard-working and willing to use initiative, reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and strong organisation and time management.
- Able to follow instructions and farm procedures and comfortable working independently and in a team.
- Must hold a valid driver's licence and have access to your own vehicle, with willingness to live and work in Victoria.
