Key Responsibilities
- Complete professional residential carpentry, including framing, structural timber, renovations, new-build tasks and finishing and fit-out details.
- Interpret plans and measurements and accurately measure, cut and fit materials.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and site areas and coordinate with builders, supervisors and trades to resolve routine issues.
- Care for equipment and tools and follow health and safety procedures in a clean, tidy and safe area.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated professional Carpenter experience and a relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Verifiable residential carpentry and employment history showing relevant trade work, with employment or qualification evidence.
- Current White Card, valid driver's licence, own reliable transport and standard carpentry tools.
- Strong residential construction knowledge including plans and technical instructions, with steady attention to detail and quality.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, with reliable attendance, professional habits and good teamwork and communication.
