A Sydney builder with a steady pipeline of full-time commercial projects needs a carpenter who can prove their skill on the tools. The mix includes interior fit-outs, doors, flooring, decking and other general commercial carpentry, with travel between job sites around New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver commercial carpentry across a sequence of live construction jobs
- Do interior fit-out work from skirtings to architraves, and hang commercial doors along with their fittings
- Install decking and floors as each project's plans require
- Handle general carpentry and finishing tasks as they come up
- Measure, cut, assemble and secure timber and similar materials with precision, using plans, dimensions and job specifications
- Use tools safely, and keep your finish neat and consistent
- Observe site safety rules and work cooperatively with other trades and site personnel
- Move between New South Wales project sites whenever required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hands-on carpentry on the tools for at least 3 years
- A background in commercial carpentry, or other relevant building work
- A trade or employment history that is genuine and can be checked, along with carpentry skills you can show in practice
- Your own tools, suited to general carpentry work
- Dependable personal transport and a readiness to travel between sites
- A current White Card
- Desirable: sound awareness of Australian construction practices and industry standards
- Must hold Australian work rights or be able to meet sponsorship requirements
- Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply, as are Pty Ltd companies and ABN holders with appropriate insurance
