Property maintenance and carpentry come together in this permanent full-time Queenstown opening. The trade services team needs an experienced carpenter comfortable taking responsibility for varied repairs and alterations. You will work independently as well as alongside other trades, including inside customers' homes, and keep finished work to a high standard.
An immediate start is available for the right person. The business is an Immigration New Zealand Accredited Employer and can sponsor through that accreditation.
An English CV should show your property repair experience, finishing work and ability to plan jobs independently. present your Queenstown maintenance carpentry skills in a CV with practical examples of the work you have completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete general carpentry and interior alterations, including fitting GIB plasterboard.
- Install architraves and skirtings and carry out finishing work.
- Replace or repair cladding and undertake general building maintenance and repairs.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A demonstrated carpentry background and high-quality workmanship.
- Able to plan work, resolve problems and finish jobs independently; reliable, organised and a good communicator.
- Comfortable working with other trades and in customers' homes.
- A full driver licence; your own tools and a suitable vehicle would be an advantage.
