A workforce company in Western Australia places tradespeople with clients across defence, health, civil construction, rail, mining and oil and gas. It is hiring trade-qualified Pipefitters, Welders, Fabricators and Boilermakers for greater Perth and regional WA. Jobs include workshop fabrication, pipework spools and piping systems, welding by TIG and flux-core, and heavy steel structures.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow work packs, isometrics, shop drawings and fabrication details
- Fabricate, assemble, fit, weld and repair to project specification, working safely and to quality standards
- Pipefitters: take measurements, then fabricate and assemble spools and piping systems, prepare fit-ups, and put in flanges, valves and supports
- Welders: use TIG on stainless, carbon, duplex and exotic materials, or FCAW on structural components, to approved welding procedures
- Boilermakers: build structural steel, platework, chutes, hoppers, tanks and heavy industrial components
- Use workshop equipment safely and keep your area clean
- Attend pre-starts and safety inspections
- Report hazards, incidents, defects and quality issues without delay
- Pass weld tests when asked
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant trade certificate such as Boilermaker, Metal Fabricator, Welding Trade, Pipe Fitting or equivalent
- Workshop fabrication and construction industry experience, demonstrated
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Proven experience meeting fabrication tolerances and quality requirements
- Strong understanding of workshop safety
- Construction Industry White Card preferred
- Desirable: first aid, forklift, EWP, rigging or dogging tickets, confined space and working at heights, plus AS/NZS welder qualifications
- Manual handling ability and PPE use
- Overtime and shift work when required
