Bring cutting, colour and client consultation skills to a growing Auckland salon. The senior hairdressing opening combines technical work with independent service delivery and support for junior colleagues. You should be able to explain the services you confidently perform and identify areas where you need further development.

Key Responsibilities
- Cut ladies’ and children’s hair to a high standard and finish with blow waves and styling. Complete global colour, regrowth, foils, balayage and highlights.
- Provide colour correction, toning, smoothing and hair treatments.
- Consult clients on their hair needs and recommend appropriate treatments and haircare products.
- Maintain high technical and service standards at every appointment, developing good professional relationships.
- Deliver services confidently without close supervision.
- Mentor and help develop junior team members.
- Participate in demonstrations, workshops and practical training when requested.
- Maintain the workspace organised, clean and professional.
- Adhere to salon procedures, hygiene requirements and workplace standards.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised hairdressing qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 or higher.
- Minimum 2 years working professionally in the industry.
- Strong practical skill in cutting, colouring, foiling and styling, including balayage, highlights, toning and colour correction.
- Confident working independently in a professional salon.
- Skilled at client consultation and communication, with excellent customer service.
- A professional, committed and reliable approach.
- Weekend availability as required.
- Beauty therapy skills or past beauty industry experience is advantageous.
- Experience mentoring junior stylists or delivering practical training is advantageous.
- Able to describe clearly the services you perform confidently.
- Able to identify services where more training or development may be required. Willing to meet New Zealand employment and visa requirements.
