Key Responsibilities
- Offer safe, compassionate, evidence-based care in the Emergency Department, acute and aged care areas
- Collaborate with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams on assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care
- Take part in quality improvement and help create positive patient experiences
- Step up as Nurse in Charge for ED (triage included), plus acute and aged care
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Registered Nurse whose registration through AHPRA is current
- A confident, capable clinician who does well in rural healthcare
- Can work independently, and also as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience, or willingness, to be Nurse in Charge across ED (including triage), acute and aged care
- Strong skills in communication, clinical assessment and decision-making, and a commitment to patient-centred care
- Immunisation and screening for certain diseases (Category A position)
