Permanent full-time roles are open for experienced Mental Health Registered Nurses at an established private mental health hospital in Melbourne. The inpatient unit supports patients with acute and complex mental health conditions, and nurses work with a multidisciplinary team throughout, from admission planning to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess mental health comprehensively and deliver individualised nursing care
- Care for patients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other conditions
- Do risk assessments and mental state examinations, and monitor patient progress
- Administer medication and observe treatment responses
- Guide patients through crisis, recovery planning and therapeutic engagement
- Team up with psychiatrists, psychologists, allied health staff and nursing colleagues; keep clinical documentation accurate and help plan discharge
Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified Registered Nurse
- Experience in inpatient mental health or psychiatric nursing
- AHPRA registration, or eligibility to obtain Australian nursing registration
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, risk management and communication
- Background in acute mental health, adult psychiatry or specialist inpatient services
- A recovery-focused, trauma-informed and person-centred approach to care
- Seeking employer sponsorship through the Subclass 482 visa
