A residential aged care operator with a not-for-profit, values-led ethos has a full-time vacancy for a compassionate, capable Registered Nurse at its Inverell home in New South Wales. The rotation covers morning, afternoon and overnight shifts.
In this post you give safe, capable, up-to-date nursing to residents, staying inside your scope of practice and meeting AHPRA and aged care standards. Daily contact with the Care Manager, General Manager and the wider team keeps care person-centred. Eligible candidates may be sponsored on a 482 visa.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents thoroughly, drawing on information from them and their families
- Contribute to admissions and ongoing assessments, and draft, deliver and routinely review care plans
- Keep clinical notes accurate and timely
- Provide hands-on clinical care whenever needed
- Give medications safely and handle ordering, storage and paperwork correctly
- Track resident wellbeing and respond quickly if their condition changes
- Collaborate with families, carers, GPs and colleagues for good health outcomes, and help make the home safe, respectful and person-centred
- Help drive quality, compliance and improvement activity, and guide care staff on residents' clinical needs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Up-to-date registration with AHPRA
- Residential aged care knowledge and/or experience
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, medication management and documentation
- Grasp of aged care accreditation and compliance requirements, and of the government standards for delivering aged care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
- A current National Criminal History Check (or be able to get one)
- Sincere commitment to helping older people live with dignity, choice and respect
- Meeting the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening
