Under two hours from Hervey Bay, a small Queensland country town is home to a 52-bed, community-based residential aged care facility that wants a permanent Registered Nurse. If you want to build a career in regional Queensland, this suits you, and an immediate start is on offer.
This role is open to applicants already in Australia. Eligible candidates may be offered sponsorship support, with possible Subclass 407 or 485-related pathways, always subject to individual eligibility and immigration requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Nurse residents to a high standard, tailoring care to what each person needs
- Give medications and watch residents' health and wellbeing
- Create, apply and review care plans for individuals
- Oversee and assist care staff to keep standards up
- Keep clinical records up to date and accurate
- Liaise clearly with residents, their families and health colleagues
- Work to the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical policies, and take part in quality improvement and clinical reviews
- Notice and respond fast when a resident's condition changes or an emergency arises, and keep learning through continuing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse with up-to-date AHPRA registration
- At least six months' RN experience in aged care
- Confident written and spoken communication
- AN-ACC funding knowledge, plus the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Intermediate computer skills, comfortable with clinical documentation systems
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance (valid) and a National Criminal History Check (current)
- A Queensland driver's licence that is valid
