A Canberra residential aged care home wants positive, kind and friendly Registered Nurses for casual shifts. The aim is for residents to receive the clinical support they need to keep up their quality of life. You join a multidisciplinary team that cares about residents and gives you room to build your skills and professional development.
This role is open to applicants already in Australia with the right to work. The home offers sponsorship for a visa and for permanent residency.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out holistic assessments and write suitable care plans
- Judge how care is working and make clinical decisions

Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse holding current AHPRA registration
- Good time management; able to meet objectives and timelines
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Responds effectively in emergencies and solves problems well
- Comfortable working in a team or independently
- Flexible about rotating morning, afternoon and night shifts
- Real care and compassion for older people
- The right to work in Australia
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (booster included, if eligible) and influenza
- Willing to complete a criminal background check and a pre-employment medical that includes a drug and alcohol screen
