Key Responsibilities
- Consult clients about hair needs and recommend care routines and professional products.
- Cut with scissors, thinning scissors and clippers, including men's cutting and styling.
- Provide colour, highlights, chemical straightening and other applicable treatments, shampooing, conditioning and scalp preparation.
- Create formal, event and professional-session styles, including braids and hair pieces where needed, tailored to client preferences.
- Maintain high workmanship and presentation and an organised, hygienic workstation.
- Build professional client relationships and loyal clientele while contributing to a cooperative salon.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Professional hairdressing experience with demonstrable practical skills, with Maximum of 5 years' industry experience.
- Strong cutting, styling and colouring ability and practical highlighting and chemical treatment experience.
- Confident men's and women's haircutting and competent event and occasion styling.
- Good understanding of haircare and product recommendations and strong client consultation and communication.
- Reliable, punctual and professionally presented, with friendly, confident customer service.
- Works effectively with a team, committed to quality and detail and flexible about working hours.
